The Online Professional Presence module can help you to make LinkedIn and Social Media work for you in your job hunt.
This module focuses on how online activity is increasingly playing a bigger role in the way people search and secure employment, whilst highlighting the methods which employers and recruiters use research people in order to determine a ‘good fit’. The purpose of this module is to guide and support you on how to manage their online presence, using LinkedIn to build a professional brand and support their career development activity.
At end of this module, you will be able to:
- Understand what your online presence is and why you should manage it
- Make a strong LinkedIn profile that will help you stand out to employers
- Recognise how to use the information available to you on LinkedIn in a way that will differentiate you from other candidates
- Build a professional network that will be valuable to your career search
