The Do Your Research module shows how you can use the information gained through good research to stand out from the crowd.

This module introduces you to the idea of looking at the bigger picture and to understand how to carry out research that will improve their chances of getting the right job. The purpose of this module is to ensure you understand the process of defining the information they need to find, locating the information and organising it to help them.

By the end of the module, you‘ll be able to:

• To understand how to research while looking for a job
• To recognise the different ways to find out information
• To manage their social profile
• To put networking tips into practice
