In partnership with Chess in School Communities (CSC), The City of London Corporation ran a virtual Chess Tournament on Wednesday 3 March 2021. This took place with six schools (within the Family of Schools) with approximately 80 pupils ranging from Year 5-9. This resource allows you to watch the training videos.
CSC is a UK charity whose mission is to improve educational outcomes and social development by introducing people to the game of chess. Founded in 2009, they have now supported over 1000 schools nationwide with chess lessons, clubs, equipment, and training. They also have a range of Home Learning resources available on the Chess at Home section of their website.
