Sir Christopher Wren rebuilt St Paul’s Cathedral after the Great Fire of London. He carved a phoenix into the south side of the building overlooking the River Thames. Discover why this was an important symbol of resilience, hope and rebirth for Londoners after such a huge tragedy by accessing the resource.
