Children have a lot to say!
That’s why the Guildhall Art Gallery partnered with children audio recording platform STORYSKIMO to test an innovative way of interacting with our collection. We are testing a brand new art discovery activity in November and would like to invite you to participate with your children. This will be suitable for children aged 6 and over.
You will get an introduction to a section of the Gallery by Kim Biddulph, Education Officer, Archaeologist, and then be invited to use STORYSKIMO’s platform on your own devices to record a conversation with your child about one artwork that you can then listen back to before submitting for editing. The audio will then be edited and published on the www.storyskimo.com website and shared via the Guildhall Art Gallery’s website and social media platforms.
We are running three pilot sessions on Thursday afternoons in November
Dates: 11th, 18th & 25th November
Time: from 3.45-4.30pm.
Location: Guildhall Art Gallery, Guildhall Yard, London EC2V 5AE
This is a free event to test an innovative concept. At the end of the session, parents, carers and children will be kindly asked to share their feedback.
