The resources in this learning journey provide a number of ways in to explore the representation of Black British history in art, specifically some of the problematic Victorian art in the Guildhall Art Gallery and some of the newer acquisitions from the 20th and 21st centuries that makes the collection more relevant to the community of London.
Learning activities can include discussion, critical thinking and lead on to creative responses, both artistic and written, to the issues raised by studying these artworks.
